I know there’s a lot of pressure from society to look and be something that would ultimately make you feel dead inside trying to fit the bill. I know it’s something only you can fix. And I don’t mean that you can change the world, but I know your matters and all of its little nooks and crannies that make you, you matter. And I just want you to know that I love them as much as I love you. And nothing else can match the feeling when you finally believe in all of that beauty, all of that magic, that you are,” – Dáe D. Lee

The Body Cheerleader mission is a quest to make self-love the norm, not a rebellion.

I once was told that when you begin to start working on yourself, to find someone who sees in you that which you cannot yet see.

As your Body Cheerleader, I want you to see yourself though my eyes—the gorgeous, glowing, compassionate, and resilient woman that you are.

Right now.

This second.

As you are.

Here is to having a marvelous relationship with your body, not one of abuse.

Here is to finding contentment in the skin that is yours, and yours exclusively.

Since there will never be another you.

Here is to focusing less on the traits you wished you had, and instead adoring the ones you already do.

I am forever in your corner, pom-pom’s high, cheering for you on life’s sidelines—to love all of that which is you.

… Until the day you see it clearly for yourself.
